About Us

Welcome to Islwyn Anglers Fishing Club!

We are a Caerphilly County Borough based fly fishing club established in the 1970’s after the amalgamation of three clubs- Risca Fly fishing Association, Ynysddu & Cwmfelinfach Angling club, and Blackwood Angling Club.

Between the two lakes and the stretches of river we provide a great day of fly fishing whether you're an experienced angler, or new to the scene.

Annual memberships and day tickets are available from the website, or from Green's Fishing Tackle in Pontllanffraith (address is noted on the Contact Us page).

If you're interested in joining the club as an annual member and have any questions then please feel free to contact us.
